At Imperfects, we’re nothing without a successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified sales associate to help us sell and market the skate side of the business. This individual will possess a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, closing deals, and of course skateboarding / the skate industry as a whole. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. It’s essential that our sales rep be personable and passionate about skateboarding and the skates that Imperfects produces.
Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:
Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Keeps the team informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.

This will start as a commission based position with the room to grow into a more permanent role. The more skates you sell the more you make and the happier we will be and the better the world will be (with more people skating).
