CORI AT PONTO

We definitely like a variety and having options in our closet but we’ve also become fans of ‘variety’ in other forms, specifically a wide range of sizes. Now available from size XS to XXL and 28-38, our utilitarian silhouettes can be enjoyed by all sexes. Cori here is showing us how good a size 28 and an XS can look in some of our hardest wearing pieces. Handmade for The Human Experience.

Shepherds Shirt

IN INDIGO HICKORY STRIPE

Finally, a shirt we can all live in and look good while doing so. Take it to dinner at mom's, go to church in it, hit the dance floor, store your lint and coins in the hidden pocket, skate in it, take it with you to pick up your daily cup of jo. The Shepherds Shirt in Indigo Hickory Stripe is the last set of stripes you’ll every buy…until you buy your next one.

The Shepherds Shirt is a silhouette inspired by vintage Japanese Kimonos and post-war Utility Field Shirts. This piece has a shawl collar blended into a Kimono style placket, French split side seams, an oversized utility pocket with hidden coin pocket, an interior cache pocket and 5 buttons. We finish The Shep with a heavy stone wash for out of the package comfort.

Hand-cut and sewn in California.

Chef Shirt

IN FATIGUE CANVAS

A product of our love for culinary experience, the Chef Shirt is a fashionable take on an iconic utilitarian piece. Cut to be a no fuss, slightly cropped boxy body, this piece has quite a bit of personality - its wider style torso is complemented by an oversized, rounded collar and a concealed placket so your buttons don't get in the way of your spatula. We even added an extra panel on the left forearm for pocket knife, pencil, thermometer or general utility storage. Good for the kitchen, the yard or the city. We can only hope Bourdain would approve.

Mike had been working on this piece for nearly 5 years before running production on a first batch - he had all of his chef pals in mind during the development process as the idea was to develop an ode to a white collar classic silhouette with a bit of blue collar grit. The Chef Shirt has a boxy frame for versatility in layering, movement and air flow. There are two utility slides in the left forearm for pocket knife and utensil storage, there is a hidden pocket in the chest and a hidden placket so your buttons do not get in the way of your work. A proper utility piece with michelin star attitude in mind.

Sherpa Shepherds Shirt

IN FATIGUE CANVAS

If cozi-ness could be a virtue, it would physically manifest as this over-shirt. This might be the most comfortable, most utilitarian, most sharp looking piece of clothing money can buy and we ain’t afraid to say it. Yes, we are biased as we spent a ton of hours building this silhouette but we think you will agree when you give it a shot.

The Shepherds Shirt is designed to guide you through any and all situations - casual or a bit more dressy - when you add Sherpa lining to it, it takes on a whole different adventure driven feel as well. Made with most lifestyles in mind, we find that this piece of clothing does best in almost all weather situations but is mostly built for the casual approach. If you like a larger more versatile over-shirt fit which would be layering appropriate, take a size up and if you like a classic over-shirt, everyday fit, take your normal size.
